Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and publisha (“we”, “us”) for your use of publisha.asia, the studio software and everything that comes with them (the “service”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. Keep your account details accurate, keep your Google account secure, and do not share your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.

The service

publisha turns a script into narration, pictures, a finished video and shorts, and can back up and publish the result. The work is done by your studio, which you connect after you sign up. You need a machine that meets the requirements on our front page and an internet connection; we are not responsible for problems caused by the machine or the connection. We may change, add or remove features, and will give notice in the app of changes that take something away from a paid plan.

Plans and payment

• Plans are monthly subscriptions, paid by card through Paystack.
• Prices are in naira. Outside Nigeria you may see a dollar price; you are charged its naira equivalent at our stated rate, and your bank may convert it.
• A plan renews each month until you turn renewal off. Turning it off keeps your plan until the end of the month you have paid for.
• Payments are not refundable, except where the law requires it or a charge was made by mistake. Tell us about a mistaken charge and we will refund it.
• We may change prices; a new price applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you before it does.
• Discount codes and referral rewards are subject to the terms shown with them and may end at any time.

Store purchases

Products and courses in the Store are sold as described on their page. Digital downloads are available from My purchases once paid. Items delivered by message are delivered as that page says.

Your content

You own the scripts, prompts and videos you make. You give us permission to process them only as needed to run the service for you: to make, store, back up and publish them when you ask. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you use and publish, and for following the rules of the platforms you publish to.

Generated voices and pictures

Voices, pictures and captions are made by AI engines and can be wrong or unexpected. Review your video before you publish it. Only clone a voice that is yours or that you have permission to use.

What you may not do

• Use the service for anything unlawful, deceptive, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Publish spam, or break YouTube's or Google's rules through the service.
• Copy, decompile, reverse engineer, resell or share the studio software.
• Try to get around plan limits, security measures or how the service charges.
• Put an unreasonable load on the service or interfere with other people's use of it.

The studio software

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use the studio software with your account while you use the service. It stays ours, and the licence ends when your account does.

Other services

YouTube, Google Drive, Google's AI tools and Paystack are run by others under their own terms, including the YouTube Terms of Service. We are not responsible for what they do, such as how a platform treats a video you publish.

Ending

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it. What you have already made stays where it was saved.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and correct, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that a video will perform in any particular way. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have that the law does not allow to be limited.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute. Before going to court, contact us and we will try to settle it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and tell you in the app before a significant change takes effect; using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
